Please only order the shirts if you are planning to attend the walk and pick them up that day. We are selling them at cost and will not be shipping any shirts that are not picked up at the walk. If you buy a shirt and are not able to attend, we will give your shirt to someone else to wear and consider your purchase to be a gift. Thank you for understanding.

Dear fellow Christian,

Though the nation of Israel isn’t perfect (what nation is?), many Christians understand that Israel is special and are committed to standing by it.

Congregation Shema Yisrael is made up of Messianic Jews and Evangelical Christians who have a love for Israel. We are a bridge between the Church and the Jewish people.

We are inviting you to join us on Sunday, May 7, for an annual event known as the Walk For Israel. The purpose of the walk is to express solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people.

Because anti-Semitism is once again growing around the world and Israel is under constant attack and repeatedly threatened with destruction by Iran and others, we need your solidarity. The Jewish people are looking for friends who will stand with us. Participating in the Walk For Israel does just that.

Over the years, our congregation has participated and had a great time expressing our support for Israel and interacting with the Jewish community. By wearing our “Christians for Israel” t-shirts, we have had an opportunity to make an impact on the large crowds that annually attend this event. We are planning to participate again this year and would like to have many of our Christian brothers and sisters join us.

So, here’s what I am asking you to do:

Buy a Christians for Israel t-shirt. Thank you for your understanding. Meet us by the play structure between 12:00 to 12:30 and pick up your t-shirt.

We will be meeting at Temple Shir Shalom, 3999 Walnut Lake Road, in West Bloomfield. It’s on the southeast corner of Orchard Lake and Walnut Lake roads. The actual walk begins at 1:30; however, the program for that day begins at 11:00 a.m. Also prior to the walk, a kosher lunch will also be served starting at 12:30. After the walk, a carnival will be held.
Please let others know and invite them to join us.

Thank you, and shalom!

Rabbi Loren
