Pastors: If you are the pastor of a church in
Metro Detroit, you are going to have contact with
the Jewish community. Congregation Shema Yisrael
would like to invite you to a lunch for pastors
to explore the relationship between churches and
the Jewish community, including a discussion of
how the Church might better relate to the Jewish
community, as well as some of the latest trends
affecting ministry to the Jewish people. Our keynote
speaker will be David Brickner, Executive Director
of Jews for Jesus, the largest Messianic Jewish
outreach ministry in the world. If you are a pastor,
join us for lunch on Tuesday, February 28 at the
Regency Manor, 25228 W. 12 Mile Road, Southfield,
48034 (between Telegraph and Northwestern). We
will start promptly at 11:30 a.m. with David giving
his perspective on issues relating to the Church
and Jewish Evangelism. Lunch will be served at
12:00, and then Rabbi Loren will give a brief
talk, followed by a question and answer session.
We will be finished promptly by 2:00 p.m. Lunch
is free; however, there will be an opportunity
to make a donation to help the work of Jews for
Jesus. For reservations, contact Jennifer at JGoldstein@shema.com

from Messianic Jews and messages about why being
Jewish and believing in Jesus is a natural extension

about this gathering. If there are Messianic Jews
that you know, would you please mention this event
