Blessed
are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, compassionate
God and Father, who is deservedly praised by your
people, and rightfully glorified by your sons
and daughters. Help us to praise You as You deserve,
O Lord our great God; with songs to magnify and
glorify You; to proclaim your Name, and declare
who You are, and the great things You have done.
Thank You that You are the great King who gives
life to everything that exists!
It is
fitting to praise You, great and holy God and
King, ascribing to You strength and dominion,
victory, greatness, and might, glory and honor,
holiness and sovereignty. May You praised forever
be praised in Heaven and on Earth! To You we offer
blessing and thanksgiving from this time forth
and forevermore. Blessed are You O Lord, the great
King who is to be praised.
May His
great Name be magnified and sanctified throughout
the world which He created according to His will.
May He establish His kingdom in your lifetime
and during your days, and within the life of the
entire house of Israel, speedily and soon; and
say, “Amayn.” May His great Name be
blessed forever and through all ages. Blessed
and lauded, glorified and extolled, lifted up
and honored, exalted and praised be the Name of
the Holy One, blessed be He, who is high above
all the blessings and songs, praises and consolations,
which are spoken in the world, and say, “Amayn.”
God of
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, righteous and good Father
of our Lord Yeshua our wonderful Messiah, draw
us closer to yourself this Sabbath day! Deliver
us from sin, from ignorance, from indifference,
from coldness of heart, from wandering of mind.
Fill us with your Holy Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom
and truth. Enable us to worship You in Spirit
and in truth! May everything that we say, sing
and think about be pleasing to You! Build us up
in our most holy faith!
Almighty
God, from whom every good prayer comes, and who
pours out on all who desire it the spirit of grace
and supplication: deliver us, when we draw near
to You, from coldness of heart and wanderings
of mind, that with steadfast thoughts and zealous
affections we may worship You in spirit and in
truth. Help us to pray in the Spirit. Cause us
to pray and worship in the Name of Yeshua.
Give us
a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of You. May our hearts be enlightened that we
make understand the hope that you have given us,
what are the riches of the glory of the things
you have for us. May we experience the surpassing
greatness of Your power for us. Teach us Your
righteousness, Your commandments, Your ways. Cause
the Sun of Righteousness to rise on us, and drive
away from our hearts all darkness.
Open our
mouths that our lips might declare your praise!
Help us to praise You, O mighty God, as you should
be worshiped! Help us to enter Your magnificent
gates with thanksgiving, and Your glorious courts
with praise! Help us to worship and bow down in
our hearts, to You, our Lord, Maker and God!
May our
lips may praise You, our lives bless You, our
meditations glorify You (Sarum Breviary).
Almighty
God, to whom all hearts are open, all desires
known, and from whom no secrets are hid: cleanse
our minds and purify our by the work of Your Holy
Spirit, that we might perfectly love You and worthily
magnify Your holy name.
Final
Prayers And Blessings
May the
Lord (the only true God, the Eternal God who is
the Source of life being, existence and reality)
bless you (doing good things for you, bringing
good things into your life and the life of those
you love), and keep you (protect you, watch over
you)!
May the
Lord, the Creator, who was, who is and who is
to come, make His face shine on you (like the
face of the sun shines on the Earth, bringing
warmth and heat and light, making life grow and
flourish, making sight possible) and be gracious
to you (adding His grace, His unmerited favor
to your life, doing lots of good things to you
that you really don’t deserve, but He does
it anyway)!
May the
Lord lift up His face on you (with recognition
and with approval, like a good and generous man
lifts up his face when he sees a beloved family
member, or a dear friend that he is pleased with,
and wants to do something nice for them) and give
you shalom peace. May He restore wholeness, add
well being and integrity to every aspect of your
life, and supply you with everything that you
need for life and godliness!
God, be
gracious to us and bless us, and cause Your face
to shine upon us, that Your way may be known on
the Earth, your salvation among all the nations
(Psalm 67:1 2).
May the
words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable in Your sight O Lord, my rock and
My Redeemer (Psalm 19:14).
May the
God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in
believing, that you may abound in hope by the
power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13)
May the
grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, and the
love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
be with you all (2 Corinthians 13:14).
Now to
Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond
all that we ask or think, according to the power
that works within us, to Him be the glory in the
Messianic Community and in Messiah Yeshua to all
generations forever and ever! (Ephesians 3:20
21).
May the
peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
guard your hearts and your minds when they are
joined to Messiah Yeshua (Philippians 4:7).
Now to
the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only
God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen!
(1 Timothy 1:17).
May the
God of peace, who brought up from the dead the
great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood
of the eternal covenant, even Yeshua our Lord,
equip you in everything to do His will, working
in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through
Yeshua the Messiah, to whom be the glory forever
and ever! Amen. (Hebrews 13:20 21).
Now may
the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you
peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with
you all! (2 Thessalonians 3:16).
Now to
Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and
to make you stand in the presence of His glory
blameless with great joy, to the only God our
Savior, through Messiah Yeshua our Lord, be glory,
majesty, dominion and authority, before all time
and now and forever! Amen. (Jude 1:24 25).
Now may
our Lord Yeshua the Messiah Himself and God our
Father, who has loved us and given us eternal
comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen
your hearts in every good work and word (2 Thessalonians
2:16 17).
Now to
Him who is able to establish you according to
my Good News and the preaching of Messiah Yeshua,
according to the revelation of the mystery which
has been kept secret for long ages past, but now
is manifested, and by the Scriptures of the Prophets,
according to the commandment of the Eternal God,
has been made known to all the nations, leading
to obedience of faith; to the only wise God, through
Messiah Yeshua, be the glory forever. Amen. (Romans
16:24 27).
Salvation
belongs to the Lord; may Your blessing O Lord,
be upon Your people! Lah Adonai ha Y'shua. Al
am cha beer cha teh cha (Psalm 3:8).
Redeem
Israel, O God, out of all of his troubles. P'day
Elohim et Yisrael mee kol tzah ro tav (Psalm 25:22).
Save Your
people, and bless Your inheritance. Be their shepherd
also, and carry them forever. Ho shee ah et am
mee cha, oo vah raych et nah chah lah teh cha,
oo r'aym v'nas aym ad ha oh lam (Psalm 28:9).
Revive
us, and we will call upon Your name. O Lord God
of armies, restore us; cause your face to shine
upon us, and we will be saved. T'cha yay nu oo
v'sheem cha neek rah. Adonai Elohim Tz’va-ot
hah shee vay nu hah ayr pah nay cha v'nee va shay
ah (Psalm 80:18 19).
Almighty
and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed
from Your ways like lost sheep. We have followed
too much the desires of our own hearts. We have
broken many of Your holy laws. We have left undone
those things which we ought to have done, and
we have done those things which we ought not to
have done, and there is no health in us. But we
pray that You, O Lord, would have mercy upon us,
who are sinful men and women. Spare those, O God,
who confess their faults. Restore those who are
repentant, according to Your promises declared
to mankind when they place their faith in Messiah
Yeshua our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father,
for His sake, that we may from now on, live a
godly, righteous, and sober life, to the glory
of Your holy name. (Book of Common Prayer)
O God,
the Creator and Preserver of all mankind, we pray
for all people everywhere, that You would make
Your ways known to them, and Your salvation to
all nations. More especially we pray for your
holy community of Jews and Gentiles that it may
be so guided and governed by and Your good Spirit
that all who call themselves Christians and Messianic
Jews, may be led into the way of truth, in the
unity of peace, and in righteousness of life.
Finally we commend to Your fatherly goodness all
those who are in any way afflicted or distressed
in mind, body, or financial condition, that it
may please You to comfort and relieve them according
to their various needs, giving them patience while
they are suffering, and that a good result will
come from all their afflictions. And this we pray
for the sake of Messiah Yeshua (Book of Common
Prayer).
Almighty
God, You have given us grace at this time so that
with one accord we make our prayer to You. You
have promised that when two or three are gathered
together in the name of Messiah, You will grant
their requests; fulfill now O Lord, the desires
of your servants, as may be best for us. Grant
us in this world knowledge of Your Torah and Your
truth, and in the world to come grant us life
everlasting, because we have joined ourselves
to Yeshua the Messiah.
O Lord
our God, renew our spirits and draw our hearts
to Yourself, so that our service to You may not
be a burden but a delight. Give us a great love
for You, that will sweeten our obedience. Let
us not serve You with a spirit of bondage, as
slaves, but with the cheerfulness and gladness
of your beloved children, who delight in Your
and rejoice in Your work. May you always be our
highest good, our greatest joy, our life and song
our salvation and our strength.
Gracious
and Holy Father, give us wisdom to perceive You,
diligence to seek You, patience to wait for You,
eyes to behold You, a heart to meditate on You,
and a life to proclaim You; through the power
of the Spirit of Messiah Yeshua our Lord (Benedict).
O Lord
of all good things, from whom all good things
come, help us to rejoice in You always. Help us
to be anxious for nothing, but with prayer and
thanksgiving make our requests known to You.
O Lord
our God, grant us grace to desire You with our
whole heart; that so desiring we may seek and
find You; and so finding You may love You; and
loving You, may hate those sins from which You
have redeemed us (Anselm).
Our Father
and King, Redeemer, Savior and Shield, may we
know You more clearly, love You more dearly, and
follow You more nearly (Richard of Chichaster).
Almighty
and everlasting God, in whom we live and move
and have our being, who created us for Yourself,
so that our hearts are restless, until they find
rest in You: grant us purity of heart and strength
of purpose so that no selfish passion may hinder
us from knowing Your will, and no weakness from
doing it. O God of peace, who has taught us that
in repentance and rest we will be saved, in quietness
and confidence is our strength, quiet our souls
before You so that we may be still and know that
You are God. In Your life may we see life clearly,
and in Your service find perfect freedom.
Lord,
make me the instrument of Your peace. Where there
is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury,
pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there
is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled
as to console, to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love: for it is in giving that
we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal
life (Francis of Assisi).
May the
offering of our prayers and praises rise as a
pleasing aroma before You, through the atoning
sacrifice of our eternal High Priest, who even
now is interceding for us at Your right hand.
Blessed are You, O Lord, who receives with love
and favor the worship of Your people!
In every
generation we will thank You and recount Your
praise, for our lives which are in Your charge,
for our souls which are in Your care, for Your
miracles which are daily with us, for Your continual
wonders and favors, for reconciliation that we
have with You through the blood of Yeshua, and
for the gift of eternal life that we have because
we are joined to Him. Blessed are you, O Lord,
the One to whom it is fitting to give thanks!
Grant
abundant peace to Israel Your people, and to the
Congregation of Messiah, Your inheritance. May
it please You to bless us with peace at all times
and all hours. Blessed are You, O Lord, who blesses
Your people with peace.
As the
sons of Aaron blessed our ancestors in the courts
of the sanctuary, so may the eternal priest according
to the order of Melchizedek bless us from the
sanctuary on high, saying: “The Lord bless
you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine
on you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift His
face on you and give you peace.”
